Director calls for ban on Ileana

The whole of tinseltown was abuzz with rumours that hot Tollywood actress Ileana will soon be banned from acting in Tamil and Telugu movies, following a complaint from Tamil film producer Mohan Nadarajan.
The producer, in a complaint to the Tamil Film Producers’ Council and South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, had alleged that Ileana had accepted an advance of Rs 36 lakh to act in his Tamil film titled Deiva Thirumagal opposite Vikram. She was also said to have given bulk dates for the movie.
However, at the last moment, Ileana allotted the same dates to Nanban, directed by Shankar. Mohan has said that he replaced Ileana with Anushka and the movie is complete now.
Mohan has contended that Ileana has not returned his signing amount, nor is she answering repeated phone calls. Now he has sought a ban on the Goan beauty. An associate of his has confirmed that Mohan lodged a complaint.
On condition of anonymity he divulged, “Initially, Ileana was evasive when we demanded the money. Of late, she hasn’t even been picking up our calls.”
It may be recalled that Ileana created a big controversy in Tollywood recently for staying away from the promotions of her film Shakthi with Jr NTR, on the grounds that she was not satisfied with the final outcome of the movie.
