Sufism or tasawwuf, as it is called in Arabic, is generally understood by scholars and Sufis to be the inner, mystical, or psycho-spiritual dimension of Islam. Today, however, many Muslims and non-Muslims believe that Sufism is outside the sphere of Islam. Nevertheless, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, one of the foremost scholars of Islam, in his article The Interior Life in Islam contends that Sufism is simply the name for the inner or esoteric dimension of Islam.
After nearly 30 years of the study of Sufism, I would say that in spite of its many variations and voluminous expressions, the essence of Sufi practice is quite simple. It is that the Sufi surrenders to God, in love, over and over; which involves embracing with love at each moment the content of one's consciousness (one's perceptions, thoughts, and feelings, as well as one's sense of self) as gifts of God or, more precisely, as manifestations of God.

Amitabh Bachchan & Shahrukh Khan Cameo In Upcoming New Movie: Kal Kisne Dekha.
Top Bollywood stars and arch rivals Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan will soon be seen sharing screen space in the upcoming flick Kal Kisne Dekha. It is perhaps after Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham in 2001 that the two Bollywood Czars will be seen together again. The credit for bringing them together goes to director Vivek Sharma.
Interestingly, there will be 13 more people in cameo roles in Sharma's Kal Kisne Dekha for that extra spice and razzmatazz. Among these include Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor. The lead actors are new - producer Vashu Bhagnani’s son Jackie Bhagnani and Manmohan Desai’s granddaughter Vaishali Desai.
The motive behind so many special appearances in this film is quite apparent - to entice the fan followings of each to see the film. Film Om Shanti Om too featured one such song with many Bollywood actors and it turned out to be a hit. The plot to use Big B and King Khan therefore too should turn out to be lucrative. Distributor Big Pictures sure has some big actors involved!

Mr. & Mrs. Karan Johar are happily married but somehow Mrs. Johar always doubts her husband’s fidelity. A breaking point is reached when one night Karan does not turn up home at all and reaches home in the wee hours of the morning. To add fuel to the fire Khushbu finds a diamond necklace in Karan’s coat pocket. Karan’s savior (or he thinks) is his next-door neighbour Harry, who at every step in the interrogation, lands Karan exasperated: till karan finds himself being hurled from the frying pan into the fire.
To make things worse Chandani of Chandani Bar comes on the scene to take back her diamond necklace but by this time, Khushbu has already left Karan & has gone to her mother’s home with the necklace in her possession.
Chandani tries to explain Karan that this necklace is not hers but belongs to “sharp shooter” Shetty who had loaned it to her for that particular outing.
Bang! Starts a cat and mouse race, first to find the necklace second to make Khushbu realize the necklace is not hers. Last but not the least to hoodwink the insurance company surveyor that Karan was badly hurt in the bus accident, so one lie after another which leaves Karan helpless.
